18 years after humble beginnings in 2002, I began university at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. After only one year at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, I realized despite all the hard work I put into getting in and convincing the school to pay me to attend, I realized two things; I am terrified of the 9-5 lifestyle and there are alternative ways to reach your goals in life.

So we got some roommates together in a cheap apartment and took a full-time minimum wage job to save up to start my life. But progress was slow and my savings account could only handle the most modest financial goals. I was faced with another realization- there is not enough opportunity for me to chip away at my goals before my life ends. So I quit my job with enough money for a month of rent and no plan. 

This blog follows my journey of learning to use money to my advantage and to make money in better ways. Articles on this blog are a mix of my experiences and research and content from other writers.
